The GATOR team and NATIVE participated in NASA's ARCTAS mission in June and July 2008. The mission included several U.S., Canadian and Greeland locations. NATIVE was stationed in Yellowknife, Northwest Terrorities, Canada. The goals of the mission are to observe how pollutatnts from the mid and high-latidudes become trapped in the Artic region and how boreal fires can influence aerosol and trace gas amounts.
